Detailed Course Content

Principles of computer science with particular focus on social activities. In the first part, we discuss history of computer science from its origin, computer architecture and principle of computer networking. In the second part, we introduce the techniques for data storage and retrieval, then we talk about the Relational Model and some principles of Relational Algebra. In the last part, we turn our focus on some very important aspects for the modern sociology which is more and more based on data analysis. We discuss of Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. We will also discuss how such new technologies are changing the economic model of many industries which are now more based on data, and this represents the most important asset for such industries.
