Learning Objectives

  Analysis of the various meanings of the principle of equality in contemporary legal and of the different strategies to achieve the objective egalitarian
• PARTITI, PARTECIPAZIONE E RAPPRESENTANZA
  The course aims to understand gender role in political participation. The limited presence in political institutions and the propensity to vote induced to emphasize the political marginalization of women in the center-periphery model. Through an analysis of the main Italian and European databases, the lessons will highlight what remains of this approach and if this can still be useful in explaining the lower propensity of women to participate.
