Learning Objectives

  In the first module will be analyzed the political movements and the institutional projects when the unitary State was builded. The achievement to get is to enstabilish the critic elaboration and the selection of the specific sources on the working of the political administrative institutions skills. In this learning process are privileged the debate and the multidisciplinary discussion.
• LE ISTITUZIONI EUROPEE FRA 800 E 900
  The second module it’s about the political and institutional transformations in Europe. In the end of the lessons the student will have to show to know the tools on the research themes discussed during the course and to transfer the knowledge from the formal-theorethic level to the pratical-political one.
  
  
• STORIA DEL PENSIERO COSTITUZIONALE MODERNO E CONTEMPORANEO
  Define constitutionalism. The medieval constitutionalism and the absolute State. The glorious English Revolution. The origins of American constitutionalism. Constitutionalism and the French Revolution. Constitutionalism between liberalism and socialism.
  
  
• IDEOLOGIE, POTERE E ISTITUZIONI NEGLI STATI DEL MEDITERRANEO
  Analysis of the nature of constitutionalism in the French Revolution. The Mediterranean model of constitutionalism.
  
  

Detailed Course Content

• IL RISORGIMENTO ITALIANO. POLITICA E ISTITUZIONI

  Knowledge of the main notions of the italian history in the modern and contemporary age. Constitutional and administrative processes in the various states before the unification. The construction of the unitary State. Centralitation and decentralitation.

• LE ISTITUZIONI EUROPEE FRA 800 E 900
  The programme it’s about the following themes: history of the italian State and Europe with an reference to the construction of the EU; the european Constitutions of the XIX century, the nation State, the institutional transformations in the first half of of the twentieth century; the construction of Europe (from CECA to Maastricht).

  Constitutionalism. Middle Ages. modern State. The Parliament representative. Revolutions parliamentarians.
