Learning Objectives
- STATE BUILDING E NATION BUILDING, CASI EUROPEIAt the end of the course the student will: possess in-depth specialized study of the salient aspects of a historical period in its varied aspects within an overall general knowledge of european history from the XIX century to the present day; possess specific knowledge and critical overview of the development of democracy in national and global contexts.
- L'AVVENTO DELLE SOCIETA' DI MASSAAt the end of the course the student will: possess advanced competences in the methods used for history sciences and the research techniques required for analysis in the fields of politics, sociology, statistics, economics of the XX century; possess autonomy for field research in the history sciences; have baknowledge for historical research and communication by way of understanding the fundamental methodology of history.
Detailed Course Content

History of the international relationships in the XIX and XX centuries with a comparative and international perspective. Study of socio-political, economic and institutional phenomena and crises. Analyses of the relation between foreign and national politics and nation building.
