I am an English language educator and independent researcher specialising in media culture, and technology. Currently based in Catania, Italy, I bring comprehensive expertise in English language education, and hold multiple professional positions, including:
Adjunct Professor of English (Laboratorio di Lingua Inglese L-39 L-40) at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, University of Catania.
Cambridge CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) English instructor with extensive international teaching experience.

Academic Background:
I completed my PhD in Cultural Studies from the Faculty of Arts, Environment and Technology at Leeds Metropolitan University ― currently known as Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom, in June 2012. My doctoral thesis, 'Sharing Bits': Creating Sociability in the Age of the Digital Agora, critically examined how emerging technologies facilitate human connection and social mobilisation through virtual and physical spaces.
