Academic Background:
I completed my PhD in Cultural Studies from the Faculty of Arts, Environment and Technology at Leeds Metropolitan University ― currently known as Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom, in June 2012. My doctoral thesis, 'Sharing Bits': Creating Sociability in the Age of the Digital Agora, critically examined how emerging technologies facilitate human connection and social mobilisation through virtual and physical spaces.
